A BATHING APE®︎ × Joshua Vides

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of A BATHING APE®︎'s iconic mascot "BABY MILO®︎," a special collaborative collection with contemporary artist Joshua Vides will be released.

Born in 1989 in Guatemala and now based in Los Angeles, Joshua Vides is known for his distinctive "Reality to Idea" concept. His unique style involves transforming everyday objects—ranging from paintings, prints, sculptures, and installations to clothing and even cars—into "sketch-like" renditions reminiscent of comics and cartoons. Vides has collaborated with numerous global brands, gaining significant attention in both the art and fashion worlds.

In this collection, he has reimagined BABY MILO®︎ designs for T-shirts, full-zip hoodies, and plush toys.

The T-shirts come in two designs: the classic "BABY MILO®︎" and the playful "MILO SHARK," featuring Milo peeking out from the mouth of a SHARK. The collaboration’s signature style is evident in the outlined marker lines, dots, and marker-like filled strokes. Both designs are available in white and black.

The "MILO FACE" full-zip hoodie features Vides’s dot art applied over the BAPE® CAMO pattern. In addition, the "A BATHING APE®" and "BABY MILO®" logos are outlined, adding a crafted, handmade touch to the design.

The adorable Milo plush, dressed in a SHARK HOODIE, has also been specially reimagined by Vides. His signature splash and dot patterns elevate the plush to a true art piece.

This collection will be available in limited quantities on EU.BAPE.COM starting Saturday, December 21st, 2024.
