BAPE® Performance All Weather by Kazuki Kuraishi

SS26 Collection - “THE WHOLE EARTH IS ALREADY IN SPACE”

A BATHING APE® (BAPE®) continues its bold evolution into the world of functional apparel with the Spring/Summer 2026 BAPE® Performance All Weather (BPAW) collection by Kazuki Kuraishi. Following the program’s debut in FW25, SS26 marks the next step in BAPE®’s journey, one that connects urban life, nature, and the cosmic reality we inhabit.

This season’s theme, “The Whole Earth Is Already in Space”, reinterprets Buckminster Fuller’s “Spaceship Earth” philosophy for a modern generation navigating city grids, mountain trails, and the vast unknown in between. SS26 Collection serves as both an aesthetic and emotional reminder: even within our everyday environments, we are passengers on a planet moving through an endless universe.

A Philosophy Woven Into Performance

Where FW25 explored winter resilience, SS26 turns toward spring mobility, transitional weather, and elemental adaptability. At the heart of the collection are materials that are waterproof, windproof, and moisture‑permeable, designed to support outdoor activity while remaining comfortable for urban daily wear.

Through this approach, BAPE® and Kazuki invite wearers to reconnect with the planet—not as distant observers, but as active participants in Earth’s ongoing voyage through space.

Product Highlights: Expression Through Utility

The outerwear lineup centers on 3‑layer items, led by the 3‑layer DIGITAL CAMO DOT Shark BPAW Zip Packable Snowboard Jacket, which merges signature camo with packable, spring‑ready performance. Alongside it, the 3‑layer Shark BPAW Snowboard Jacket delivers streamlined protection through BAPE®’s iconic shark design, while the 3‑layer Sho‑ene Detachable Hooded Rain Jacket introduces modularity via its removable hood. Completing the category is the Alpha Ventilation Jacket, a breathable, cleanly structured shell engineered for changing temperatures.

Mid‑layers, shirting, and graphic apparel bring forward the collection’s textural and conceptual storytelling. Key highlights include the DIGITAL COLOR CAMO long sleeves shirt, the DIGITAL 1ST CAMO DOT short sleeves tee, and the Afterhood Shark Hoodie, which channels the season’s theme through reimagined BAPE® motifs. The lineup updates a BAPE® icon with functional fleece comfort, while introducing more statement pieces featuring detachable elements, modular details, and lightweight constructions that move seamlessly between city and nature.

The pants selection refines movement and adjustability for spring pursuits. Highlight pieces include the 3‑layer Belted Shark Pants, which lead the range with weather‑ready construction and integrated belt support, complemented by the Spaceship Uniform Track Pants, which translate the season’s theme into a futuristic, streamlined silhouette.

Footwear strengthens the collection’s cross‑terrain identity through silhouettes built for traction and versatility. The BPAW Manhunt, a new introduction for SS26, debuts with an outdoor‑ready construction that expands BAPE®’s functional footwear offering. Alongside it, the BAPE STA™ BPAW reinterprets a familiar icon through the BPAW performance lens, while the SNOW CLOG STA introduces a hybridized design suited for both outdoor transitions and everyday urban environments.

SS26 is more than a seasonal update, it's BAPE®’s statement on how fashion can inspire awareness, connection, and exploration. Through utilitarian silhouettes, cosmic symbolism, and grounded performance, Kazuki Kuraishi reimagines what it means to dress for a world in motion. The collection encourages wearers to embrace discovery, not only of the outdoors, but of Earth’s place within the vast, unending universe.

“BAPE® Performance All Weather by Kazuki Kuraishi” SS26 will launch on March 7, 2026, at EU.BAPE.COM.
