BAPE® ANNOUNCES BAPE® X SPOTIFY X SYNA CAPSULE COLLECTION, BY CENTRAL CEE AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR

 

Spotify and BAPE® today share full details of the BAPE® x SPOTIFY x SYNA capsule collection led by Central Cee as Creative Director. This three-way collaboration marks the next chapter of Spotify’s partnership with BAPE®, with the collection rolling out from November 25th across global selected BAPE STORE® locations, BAPE® and SYNA online.


The capsule uses BAPE® product as the canvas for Central Cee’s design vision through SYNA. The camo detail represents simplicity and there are nods to iconic silhouettes and moments that have helped shape the collection and inspiration behind it.


With music at the core of the creative process, each piece connects back to a song idea that shaped mood, silhouette, colour and detail. Select labels and care tags include discreet links that point fans to listen to a Central Cee curated playlist on Spotify, which updates through launch.


This collection takes inspiration from the iconic purple BAPE® hoodie, a piece that became a cultural reference point in hip-hop fashion. The purple color story runs through key designs, reinterpreted with a modern edge. As Creative Director, Central Cee nods to that breakthrough in hip hop fashion culture while bringing his own perspective through SYNA.


Highlights include a puffer with a purple option that nods to a BAPE® colourway Central Cee has long admired; a “Synning BAPE” graphic tee that reimagines one of the brand’s most recognisable designs through the SYNA lens; and a football jersey that reflects Cench’s lifelong love of the game and was an instant classic.


BABY MILO® takes on different looks, each with its own story to tell. Whether it’s a London-inspired moment, capturing the essence of youth culture and city life, or sporting the iconic Shark Hoodie, one of BAPE®’s most recognizable designs reimagined through SYNA’s unique lens, every detail is crafted with purpose.
