On April 1, 1993, A BATHING APE® (BAPE®) was born as the original brand of the NOWHERE store, which opened in a back alley of Harajuku, Tokyo. Since then, BAPE® has consistently embraced its "FEARLESS EXPRESSION," always challenging itself to evolve.
In line with this spirit, last year, we hosted a runway show for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection in Shanghai, China. We also expanded with significant new landmarks, such as "BAPE KIDS®," marking our first entry into the Kansai region; "BAPE® THINK," our first concept store; and "BAPE STORE® GINZA," our flagship store in Ginza; as well as "BAPE STORE® CHICAGO," "BAPE STORE® LAS VEGAS," and other exciting locations. Furthermore, we organized a series of projects celebrating self-expression, including the "BAPE GALLERY™ TOKYO" art exhibition, and pop-up events for the 25th anniversary of BABY MILO® and the 20th anniversary of the SHARK HOODIE. This was truly a year that embodied the essence of "FEARLESS EXPRESSION."

To commemorate this milestone, we’re releasing a new edition of our annual anniversary T-shirt. This year’s collection features three designs: the APE HEAD logo, which combines the brand’s iconic numbering from the past 32 years in two versions—a black/white design and two colorways of 1ST CAMO—as well as a graphic featuring 32 colorful APE HEADs on the front and back of the T-shirt. As a special gift with purchase, customers will receive a limited-edition 32nd-anniversary commemorative sticker.
