BAPE® by KAZUKI KURAISHI
Redefining Winter Sports with the FW25 "Performance All Weather" Collection

A BATHING APE® (BAPE®), the iconic streetwear brand, is proud to announce its groundbreaking collaboration with renowned designer Kazuki Kuraishi, who serves as the Creative Director of the FW25 "Performance All Weather" collection. This partnership marks BAPE®’s dedicated venture into winter sports apparel, introducing a revolutionary line of lifestyle apparel and snowsports gear that seamlessly blends professional-grade functionality with urban fashion. The lifestyle drops will launch in November, followed by the snow sports collection in December.
A Fresh Take on Iconic Camouflage
The highlights of this collection are two new camouflage patterns designed by Kazuki. DIGITAL ABC CAMO is a bold, pixelated reinterpretation of the classic ABC CAMO, infused with the iconic green tones of 1ST CAMO. UAP CAMO (UNIVERSAL APE PATTERN CAMO) introduces an entirely new design that cleverly conceals the brand’s signature elements, the "APE HEAD," the "Foot Soldiers" logo, and BAPE® lettering, within the camouflage itself.
The patterns, created by Kazuki when he was a graphic designer for BAPE® 25 years ago, retain the "FEARLESS" spirit that is characteristic of BAPE®, while showcasing an entirely new look.
Urban Essentials for the Modern Lifestyle
The November lifestyle drop introduces urban essentials redefining versatility, featuring statement outerwear like the DIGITAL ABC CAMO detachable zip jacket and reversible down jacket, military-inspired multi-patch long sleeve shirt, and modern updates to BAPE® classics including the Shark Hoodie. The collection offers functional daywear with tactical pants and daypack, alongside cozy layers like sherpa coach jackets and knitwear. Graphic tees reinterpret archive motifs, while the snowboard 2-layer jacket teases December's technical snowboarding expansion, all unified by Kazuki's disruptive camo redesign.
Friends of Kazuki and BAPE® Celebrating Collection Launch
This campaign unites a dynamic roster of cultural trailblazers, friends of BAPE® and Kazuki himself, including Edison Chen (Founder & Creative Director of CLOT), HOSHI of SEVENTEEN, James Lavelle (UNKLE), JESSE (SixTONES), Kaneee (rapper), Naoto Hiroyama (ORANGE RANGE), Narufumi Yoshimura (pro snowboarder), Riisa Naka (actress), and Sean Wotherspoon (designer). Together, they showcase the universal appeal and functionality of the FW25 collection.

Edison Chen anchors the campaign with his signature rebel-cool in the snowboard 2-layer jacket, while rapper Kaneee electrifies the DIGITAL ABC CAMO tactical set with streetwise flair. Jesse reinterprets the sherpa detachable coach jacket and pants with a fresh, sporty twist, and Naoto Hiroyama (ORANGE RANGE) masters simplicity in a crewneck sweatshirt. Styled head-to-toe in disruptive camo redesigns and technical fabrics, the collection highlights bold styling and technical innovation.

HOSHI OF SEVENTEEN makes a bold statement in the red snowboard 2-layer jacket, while James Lavelle channels urban sophistication in the detachable zip jacket. Narufumi Yoshimura, the snowboarder, exemplifies peak performance in the UAP CAMO 3-layer jacket, and Riisa Naka completes the lineup with effortless elegance in the polarfleece set and detachable zip jacket. Sean Wotherspoon brings a fresh take on vintage with the varsity jacket and polarfleece set. Together, they highlight the universal appeal and functionality of the FW25 collection, with selected pieces launching this December.

Designer’s Vision: Versatility Meets Passion
In the words of Kazuki Kuraishi, “This collection is for the mad ones – those who burn with passion for both city streets and mountain peaks. Each garment is designed to be a companion for those who never settle for the ordinary, who seek out extraordinary moments with kindred spirits. More than just streetwear, these are tools for those who desire everything life has to offer, whether in urban landscapes or deep powder snow.”
Kazuki’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in the choice of lighter-weight 3-layer fabrics, which provide optimal warmth during peak winter conditions while extending wearability into the spring. Through extensive testing in both Tokyo and Hokkaido, Kazuki has ensured that this collection perfectly complements modern active lifestyles, setting a new standard for versatility between city and mountain environments.
“With ‘Performance All Weather,’ Kazuki reimagines what winter sportswear can be, where streetwear meets alpine performance. His creative vision and technical precision have transformed this collection into a fearless expression of outdoor lifestyle. It’s a bold evolution for BAPE®, and a testament to our shared commitment to pushing boundaries,” said Mahmoud El Salahy, CEO of BAPE®.
