When BAPE®’s urban style first collided with Hajime Sorayama’s futuristic vibe, the collection was wildly popular. It was inevitable that there would be a second capsule to extend its success and meet the demand for even more of this shiny fashion of tomorrow. The eye-catching BAPE® and A BATHING APE® lettering presented in Sorayama’s gold and silver foil immediately exhibits the glittering unity of these two styles and yet leaves so much to explore in the details.
This round of collaboration includes a full range of clothes and accessories. You can literally get dressed from head to toe, with two knit caps right down to a new machine-like SK8 STA design inspired by the screws on Sorayama’s robot. The hoodie, sweater, tees, and pants all incorporate iconic BAPE® motifs, and you’ll find the line camo pattern splattered across them. But you’ll see Sorayma’s signature metallic aesthetic across the collection, with the silver and gold palette providing that futuristic twist to the classic BAPE® items. And in case you need an extra touch to complete the whole look, there’s even a skateboard design, in either of those gleaming colours!
